my-context
a personal context vault, plain markdown files about who i am and how i work, exposed to claude through a read-only mcp connector.
a git repository of markdown files: profile, preferences, active projects, and pointers to where other context lives. a small read-only model context protocol server exposes it, so an assistant can search and read the vault without me pasting the same background into every conversation.
principles
- plain files i own, versioned in git. no proprietary format.
- read-only from the assistant’s side. i edit; it reads.
- short and high-signal. a digest file is imported into claude code’s global instructions; the detail stays in sibling files.
the repository is private because it is, by definition, about me.
