On tools

A short list of tools I keep coming back to:

• Astro for static sites. Fast, no JS by default.
• Obsidian for notes. Plain Markdown files I own.
• Helix as a daily editor. Modal, opinionated, no plugins to maintain.

The pattern: prefer tools that produce plain files I can move, version, and grep.
